Sidekick Purple Regular 3/8" Leash

We use the Sidekick as part of our training program to help transition dogs from aggressively pulling to gentle walking — sometimes in as little as a few days. The leash can be used with a head halter for training or as a standard slip lead and is available in a variety of colors and two sizes: Regular with a diameter of 3/8” for dogs over 10 pounds and Mini with a diameter of 1/4” diameter for small dogs under 15 pounds. The leash is 6 feet long with a 10-inch handle and comes with a safety.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Holding the leash in both hands with the safety clip hanging in the middle, make two loops
2. Place the big loop over your dog’s head
3. Place the smaller look over your dog’s snout
4. Position the leash above your dog’s collar, so it sits right behind your dog’s ears
5. Move the adjustable stopper, so it fits snuggly against the back of your dog’s neck
6. Attach the safety clip to the collar

Once your dog is ready, you can remove the loop on your dog’s snout.

1. Place the loop over your dog’s head
2. Position the leash above your dog’s collar, so it sits right behind your dog’s ears
3. Move the adjustable stopper, so it fits snuggly against the back of your dog’s neck
4. Attach the safety clip to the collar
